Summary

This study tested whether adding dexamethasone or dexmedetomidine to a nerve block (ESPB) could help control pain longer after spine surgery. 90 adults having lumbar spine surgery took part. The main goal was to see how long it took before they needed opioid pain medicine. The results help doctors choose the best option for managing post-surgery pain.
