This study tests whether changing the pulse-width of electrical stimulation during pedicle screw placement affects nerve response thresholds. Researchers will stimulate screws with three different pulse-widths (0.4, 0.2, and 0.05 milliseconds) and record the intensity needed to trigger a muscle response. The goal is to find the most effective settings for nerve monitoring during spinal fusion surgery. The study involves 50 adults undergoing spinal surgery with pedicle screws.
