New training aims to ease burden for dementia caregivers in hospice

Summary
This study tested a special training program and tool for home hospice clinicians to help them better care for people with dementia and support their families. About 93 clinicians and family caregivers took part, with some clinicians receiving the training and others providing usual care. The goal was to see if the training could reduce caregiver burden and improve clinician knowledge about dementia care at the end of life.
