Summary
This study tested a program where a pharmacist works with people with dementia, their caregivers, and their doctor to review and safely stop medications that may no longer be helpful. The goal was to reduce the number of pills taken, making life simpler and safer. The study included 360 older adults with dementia who were taking five or more medications.
