Summary
This study compares deep brain stimulation (DBS) plus medication against medication alone for Parkinson's patients who also have impulse control disorders like gambling or compulsive behaviors. About 60 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to see if DBS can reduce these behavioral problems better than standard treatment.
