Summary

This study tests whether turning on an extra deep brain stimulation (DBS) electrode in a brain region called the globus pallidus externa (GPe) can help people with Parkinson's disease who have severe insomnia. Ten participants aged 40-80 will report changes in their sleep quality using questionnaires. The goal is to see if this targeted stimulation can ease a common and troubling symptom.
