Could an Anti-Inflammatory pill help control diabetes?

Summary

This study tests an oral drug called dapansutrile in 300 adults with type 2 diabetes. The drug targets inflammation, which may help lower blood sugar and reduce diabetes complications. Participants will take either the drug or a placebo for several months to see if it safely improves blood sugar control.
