New study tracks kidney and heart health in advanced heart failure patients on transplant list

Summary
This study is for adults with advanced heart failure who are on the waiting list for a heart transplant. Researchers want to see how the drug dapagliflozin affects the link between the heart and kidneys over 6 months. They will measure a protein called suPAR in the blood to track kidney health. The goal is to learn more about how heart and kidney problems progress in these patients.
