First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 337 adults having laparoscopic surgery to see if the pressure in their breathing tube during the operation affected whether they got a sore throat afterward. The researchers measured how long the tube pressure was too high and checked for sore throat 1 hour and 24 hours after surgery. The goal was to understand this link to help reduce discomfort in future patients.
