Blood test after liver surgery could personalize chemo for cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether a blood test that looks for cancer DNA (ctDNA) after liver surgery can help doctors decide who needs more chemotherapy. About 120 adults with colorectal cancer that spread to the liver will have their ctDNA levels checked after surgery. Those with detectable ctDNA (higher risk) will get stronger chemo, while those without may avoid unnecessary treatment. The goal is to improve the chance of staying cancer-free for at least one year.
