Summary
This study tests whether adding creatine and HMB supplements to a supervised exercise program can improve physical function, muscle mass, thinking skills, and quality of life in frail older adults living in nursing homes. Fifty people aged 65 and older are taking part, receiving either placebo, creatine, HMB, or both, plus exercise, for 12 weeks. The goal is to find a practical way to help seniors stay stronger and more independent.
