Wristband tried to predict COVID breathing crises
NCT ID NCT04356443
Summary
This study tested a special wristband called the AirGo to monitor the breathing patterns of hospitalized COVID-19 patients who were breathing on their own. The goal was to see if the band could detect patterns that signal a patient's breathing is getting worse and might require a ventilator. If successful, this could help doctors monitor patients more closely and decide when to intervene sooner.
