First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tested a special band called AirGo to monitor breathing patterns in hospitalized COVID-19 patients with respiratory failure. The goal was to see if the band could detect early signs of worsening breathing, which might help doctors decide when to use a breathing tube. The study included 25 adults with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 who were breathing on their own but needed extra oxygen.
