NCT ID NCT02481349

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a couple-based Hatha yoga program can improve quality of life, fatigue, distress, and sleep for people with high-grade glioma undergoing radiation therapy and their partners. About 216 couples will participate, with some receiving the yoga program and others standard care. The main goal is to see if the program is feasible and safe, with early signs of benefit as a secondary aim.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Hatha yoga program

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a simple, drug-free way to help glioma patients and their partners feel better during radiation treatment.

What could go wrong

This is an early feasibility study, not a large effectiveness trial. The yoga program may not provide meaningful benefits, and results may not apply to all patients.
