First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether trained peer navigators can help Hispanic families enroll their children with cancer in clinical trials. About 450 parents of Hispanic children (ages 0-17) with newly diagnosed cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either peer navigation or standard care. The goal is to see if this support increases trial participation and improves understanding of informed consent.
