First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at how two types of trans fats—one from milk and one from processed oils—affect heart disease risk. Forty-six healthy adults ate special foods containing either natural or artificial trans fats for a set time. Researchers measured changes in cholesterol and other blood markers to see if one type is less harmful. The goal was to understand if natural trans fats are better for heart health than industrial ones.
