Summary

This study looks at 80 people having hip or knee replacement surgery to compare two ways of giving a drug called tranexamic acid, which helps reduce bleeding. Half will get the drug through a standard IV, and the other half will get it injected into the bone. Researchers will measure drug levels in the blood and check blood loss and clotting to see which method works better.
