First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at two standard methods of stitching the kidney artery during a living donor kidney transplant: interrupted stitches and continuous stitches. Researchers will review past cases and follow 70 new adult patients for three months after surgery. The goal is to see which method shortens the time the kidney is without blood and improves early blood flow, without causing more complications.
