Home visits by paramedics may keep heart failure patients out of the hospital

Summary

This study tests whether having a specially trained community paramedic visit heart failure patients at home can reduce hospital stays and emergency visits compared to standard care. About 75 adults with worsening heart failure will take part. Researchers will track days out of the hospital, quality of life, and patient satisfaction to see if this home-based approach is effective and sustainable.
