First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a type of talk therapy called Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) can help adults who experienced the 2023 earthquakes in Turkey. Thirty-six participants with PTSD symptoms were randomly assigned to receive CPT or usual care. The goal was to see if CPT reduces PTSD, depression, and anxiety while improving well-being.
