First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study aimed to create a French database of adults with chronic cough (lasting over 8 weeks) to learn more about the condition and how many people have a cough that doesn't get better with treatment. Researchers planned to collect information from 178 patients across multiple hospitals. The study was terminated early, but its goal was to gather knowledge, not to test a new treatment.
