First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a partial problem with a protein called CFTR (which helps move salt and water in the body) contributes to chronic sinusitis. Researchers will measure chloride levels in the nose of 20 people with sinusitis and healthy volunteers. The goal is to understand the disease better, not to test a new treatment.
