New study reveals hidden diabetes risks in cystic fibrosis patients

Summary
This study aims to find out how often people with cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD) develop complications like eye, kidney, and nerve problems. Researchers will also check blood pressure and cholesterol levels. About 200 adolescents and adults with CFRD for at least 5 years will take part. The goal is to better understand these risks, not to test a new treatment.
