Researchers Fine-Tune antibiotic dosing for dialysis patients

Summary
This study looks at how the antibiotic cefazolin works in people on chronic hemodialysis who have catheter-related bacterial infections. The goal is to find the best dose to keep antibiotic levels high enough to fight infection while avoiding side effects. About 32 adults on dialysis will be monitored for 48 hours after receiving cefazolin.
