First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving calcium before arriving at the hospital and vasopressin early in the hospital can help people with severe bleeding after a traumatic injury. About 1,050 participants will receive either the drugs or a placebo. The main goal is to see if these treatments reduce deaths within 30 days.
