First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study aims to find better ways to predict heart disease in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), who face twice the risk of heart attack. Researchers will measure calcium in heart arteries and a protein called troponin in 120 adults aged 40-79 with RA and at least one other risk factor. The goal is to catch heart disease early and start prevention sooner.
