First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding a caregiver training program to a visual mapping assistive technology (MapHabit) improves daily life for people with Alzheimer's or dementia and reduces stress for their caregivers. Fifty patient-caregiver pairs will use either the technology alone or with the training for six months. The goal is to see if the combined approach boosts patient independence and eases caregiver burden.
