Can a phone app cure sleepless nights for cancer patients?
NCT ID NCT05294991
Summary
This study is testing whether using the Calm meditation app for 10 minutes a day can help people with blood cancers who have trouble sleeping. Researchers will enroll 276 patients to see if the app improves sleep quality, reduces fatigue and anxiety, and lowers body inflammation over 8 weeks, with effects tracked for 12 more weeks. The goal is to find an easy, accessible way to manage common and distressing symptoms.
