New hope for easing anxiety in autistic youth
NCT ID NCT07439042
Summary
This study aims to see if the medication buspirone can safely help reduce anxiety in children and teenagers with autism. About 20 participants, aged 7 to 17, will take either buspirone or a placebo (a pill with no medicine) for 16 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety symptoms to see if the treatment is effective and well-tolerated.
