First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a new device called the BrioVAD, a mechanical heart pump for people with severe, advanced heart failure that doesn't get better with standard treatments. The goal is to see if the pump is safe and helps people live longer and feel better. About 60 adults with very weak hearts will receive the pump and be followed for 6 months to check survival and heart function.
