Can a daily dose of bright light ease Parkinson's sleep and mood symptoms?
NCT ID NCT05524961
Summary
This study tested whether daily bright light therapy could help people with Parkinson's disease who struggle with severe daytime sleepiness. Researchers compared the light therapy against a fake light device and another inactive treatment in 69 participants. The main goal was to see if the light could reduce sleepiness, with secondary checks on depression, fatigue, and quality of life.
