First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a mobile breathing trainer (AiroFit PRO™) for 6 weeks can improve lung function, muscle strength, and quality of life in people with hemiplegia (weakness on one side) after a stroke. About 54 adults who are at least 3 months post-stroke will be randomly assigned to either the breathing trainer or traditional pursed-lips breathing exercises. The goal is to see if the smart device offers better results for breathing and recovery.
