This trial investigates whether adding deep, slow breathing exercises and a gentle neck-release technique to standard physical therapy can improve heart rate control, movement, thinking, and mood in people who have had a stroke. The study includes 54 adults who had a first stroke at least three months ago and now have weakness on one side. Participants will be assigned to one of three groups: standard rehab alone, standard rehab plus breathing exercises, or standard rehab plus both breathing and neck release.
