First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study aims to see if analyzing chemicals in a person's breath can help doctors quickly tell if chest pain is dangerous (like a heart attack) or not. Researchers will collect breath samples from 6,000 adults coming to the emergency room with chest pain. The goal is to create a fast, non-invasive test that improves diagnosis and speeds up treatment for those at highest risk.
