Summary

This study explores whether performing a cardiac MRI (CMR) before the standard invasive coronary angiography (ICA) can accurately diagnose the cause of a suspected non-ST-elevation heart attack (NSTEMI). Currently, patients with NSTEMI often undergo an invasive angiogram, and if that doesn't explain the heart attack, an MRI is done afterward. The trial will test if doing the MRI first can identify non-ischemic causes, like myocarditis, and potentially avoid the need for an invasive procedure. It will also see if the MRI can better pinpoint the artery responsible for the heart attack compared to the angiogram.
