First seen May 21, 2026 ยท Last updated May 21, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether eating Brazil nuts can lower inflammation and oxidative stress in people with chronic kidney disease (stages 3 to 4). Fifty participants will take Brazil nut supplements and have their blood and stool tested for changes in antioxidants, inflammation markers, and gut bacteria. The goal is to see if this simple food can help manage the disease, but it is not a cure.
