Summary

This study looked at how blood sugar levels relate to sugar levels in the brain of 14 seriously ill patients with acute brain injury. Researchers used special monitoring tools to measure brain sugar and oxygen. The goal was to better understand this relationship and create a math model of how the brain uses sugar.
