Scientists test brain zaps to understand OCD thinking

NCT ID NCT07419009

Summary

This research aims to see if a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can influence how people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) shift their thinking and behavior. It will involve 12 participants, some with OCD and some without, to test if the study procedures themselves are practical and acceptable. The main goal is not to treat OCD, but to gather information about how the brain works in this condition.
