Which bone graft works best for saving your jawbone after a tooth pull?

NCT ID NCT06722482

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two common bone graft materials (freeze-dried bone allograft and collagen-enriched cow bone xenograft) used to preserve the jawbone after removing a front tooth. About 50 adults who need a tooth extraction and plan to get a dental implant will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two grafts. The main goal is to see which material better maintains bone width and height after 16 weeks of healing.
