NCT ID NCT07362394
First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a patient's own tooth (autologous dentine graft) can heal bone defects around the second molar after wisdom tooth removal better than a standard animal-based bone graft. About 34 adults with similar wisdom tooth impactions on both sides will participate. Each person will receive the own-tooth graft on one side and the standard graft on the other, and be followed for a year to compare healing, bone regrowth, and pain.
