NCT ID NCT07559643
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two blood-thinning injections (tinzaparin and enoxaparin) to prevent dangerous blood clots after weight loss surgery. About 180 adults having laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy or gastric bypass will be randomly assigned to one of the two drugs for 21 days after surgery. The main goal is to see which drug provides better protection by measuring blood levels on the second day after surgery.
