First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is developing a blood test to find colorectal cancer early, even before symptoms start. Researchers will analyze DNA markers in blood samples from 500 people (some with cancer, some healthy) to see if the test can accurately tell who has cancer. The goal is to create a simple, noninvasive screening tool that could be used widely to catch the disease early and save lives.
