Summary
This pilot study tests whether a structured case-finding pathway can help detect pancreatic cancer earlier in Swiss primary care. Adults aged 60 or older with warning signs like new-onset diabetes, unexplained weight loss, or a family history of pancreatic cancer are invited to undergo an MRI scan and a blood test for a biomarker called PancreaSure. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and safe, paving the way for a larger national study.
