Study tests tools to spot repeat blood clots

Summary
This study looked at 744 people who had a blood clot before and were suspected of having another one. Researchers tested three different checklists (called clinical decision rules) to see how well they could tell if a new clot was really there. The goal was to help doctors avoid missing dangerous clots or giving unnecessary blood thinners.
