Bladder cancer combo shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab to standard chemotherapy (gemcitabine and cisplatin) is safe and effective for people with advanced bladder cancer. About 54 adults with metastatic or muscle-invasive bladder cancer will receive the combination. The goal is to see if the new combo works better than chemo alone, while monitoring side effects.
