Summary

This study tested a program to help bladder cancer patients and their caregivers prepare for and recover from bladder removal surgery. The program included nurse-led education before surgery, a recovery website with videos and resources, and support for both patients and caregivers. The goal was to improve quality of life and reduce infections and unplanned hospital visits. 174 patients and their caregivers took part in the study.
