Summary

This study tested the safety of combining different doses of external radiation therapy with the chemotherapy drug gemcitabine in 19 bladder cancer patients. The goal was to find the highest safe dose of radiation that can be given alongside chemo. Participants had early-stage bladder cancer that had not spread to lymph nodes or other organs.
