NCT ID NCT03413982
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is creating a large registry and biorepository of information and samples from 1,000 people with bladder cancer. Researchers will collect blood, urine, and tissue samples over two years to study how they relate to tumor development, recurrence, and survival. The goal is to provide a resource for future studies that could lead to better treatments or biomarkers.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this registry could help researchers find better ways to predict, treat, or monitor bladder cancer in the future.
What could go wrong
This is an observational registry, not a treatment trial. It collects data and samples for future research, so it won't directly benefit participants or produce immediate results.
