Heart study tests safer blood thinner for High-Risk patients

Summary
This study compares two blood thinners, bivalirudin and heparin, used during a heart procedure called PCI in people with acute coronary syndrome who are at high risk of bleeding. About 5,270 participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs. The goal is to see which one better prevents serious heart problems and major bleeding within 30 days.
