Summary
This trial is testing the best timing for opening additional blocked arteries in people who have had a severe type of heart attack (STEMI) with multiple blocked vessels. After the main blocked artery is opened, participants are randomly assigned to have the other blockages treated either during the same hospital stay or after discharge. The goal is to see which approach reduces the risk of death, another heart attack, or the need for further procedures.
