Summary

This study follows 1,000 people who are having weight-loss (bariatric) surgery. Researchers will measure changes in weight, body fat, blood sugar, cholesterol, and other health markers before surgery and at several follow-up visits over two years. The goal is to better understand how bariatric surgery improves obesity-related conditions like diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
